Catalyst Learning Developer, ASP.net (New Media)
Relocation is negotiable and travel is not required.
This is a Full-Time position, working 1st Shift.
Job Skills/Requirements
The ASP.net developer is responsible for:
Development and maintenance of web-based applications including all aspects of software development and life cycle management documentation (i.e., requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment).
Customer technical support addressing client questions and troubleshooting with remote sites. Typical caller is a non-technical student or education manager.
Job requires a C# developer with very strong programming skills to develop web-based applications to support learning and career planning activities. Examples include: tracking, managing and reporting on student outcomes; building career development tools, e.g. resume builder.
Skills Required:
Experience building web applications using C#; 1-3+ years experience
Proven problem-solving ability; ability to think critically, assess options and advise management on technical options and recommendations
Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, AJAX, .NET Framework 3.5, Visual Studio 2008/2010
Proven problem-solving ability; ability to think critically, assess options and advise management on technical options and recommendations
Preference given to those with:
Understanding of DotNetNuke platform
Related IT certification
Bachelors Degree
Knowledge of Sharepoint development
Experience in the Education industry
